Setting up the app on an Android phone or tablet
Install the DVSwitch app onto the android device you will be using with DVSwitch, this is available in Google Play.
Start the DVSwitch app.
Top of screen click on Accounts,
highlight one of the entries.
Protocol set to USRP
Hostname is the IP address of your Raspberrypi
Port 51234
TX Port 51234
Callsign, your callsign
DMR ID your 7 digit DMR ID
Transmit and Receive levels set to approx 50%, you can adjust to suit later.
Codec Type should be “Server Selected”.
Click on Save.
Ensure there is a tick in the box of the entry you have just created.
Back to the main screen.
Click on Register, you will here a short jingle type sound. You should now be connected to the DMR network you chose in DVSwitch.
Type the number of the Talkgroup you wish to access into the field at the top of the screen, and then press send, you will be linked to that TG.
You can Check all is working and monitor activity via the DVSwitch Dashboard.
