To program the Quansheng UV-K5 on Chirp Next using developer modules your firstly need to
Download chirp next CHIRP NEXT
Next we open the chirp programming softwarethen click on help tab ,
Now click load module from issue ,
Type in issue box type in the number 10478,
Select latest module at the bottom of the list,
Select Quansheng UV-K5 from list,
You do this every time you start chirp but it just takes seconds .
To be safe first thing hit download a copy of the radio memory and save it as a back up,
It’s experimental put works ,
You may now import channel lists from the stock frequecies or baofeng images you may have saved.
Hit save and upload to radio.
If you want to enable to scan as the Dev Chirp build is not supporting scan lists at the moment simply open up the original Quansheng programming software
Read from radio,
On the left select scan list and double click on every frequency you want in the list and you see them appear in the list .
Hit Save.
Now simply Write to radio.
